2021 Asia Pacific Drummer Competition Ceremony

2021 Asia-Pacific Drummer Competition

At the 4th Asia-Pacific Drummer Competition Ceremony, the Hong Kong judges and the ten Hong Kong finalist acts will be physically present at the venue. From other cities, the judges and the other 17 winning acts will join us virtually through video messages. This blended experience is a new challenge for our guests, contestants, audience and organisers.

With an aim to foster exchange and friendship between all Asian-Pacific drummers from different age groups, four competition categories with nine classes are open for children, young people, amateur and professional drummers in the region. The youngest participant being five years old, Asia-Pacific is full of potential drumming superstars. The four categories with 9 classes are as follows:

1. Hong Kong Young Drumset Category- 1A, 1B

2. Asia Pacific Professional Drumset Category- 2A, 2B, 2C

3. Asia Pacific Professional Snare Category- 3A, 3B

4. Asia Pacific Drum Duet Category- 4A, 4B
